Metilience announced on 25 May 2026 that it has completed the acquisition of The Carnegie Journal, an English-language lifestyle and editorial magazine.
The Carnegie Journal will continue to publish under its existing name and domain. Its editorial direction will be maintained, with a monthly issue structure beginning with the June 2026 Seoul issue.
The publication covers boutique hospitality, gastronomy, interior design, local brands, people, culture, style, business, and quiet luxury for English-language readers.
The acquisition reflects Metilience’s belief that as artificial intelligence automates discovery and recommendation, the value of human curation and editorial judgment becomes more important. The Carnegie Journal will be supported by Metilience’s operating infrastructure while preserving its editorial identity.
The Carnegie Journal plans to develop editorial partnerships with boutique hotels, F&B operators, design brands, and local/tourism-related partners. The publication also plans to introduce The Carnegie Journal Select, a future selection and awards initiative.
The acquisition amount has not been disclosed.
The Carnegie Journal is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc.
